1. Jesus preached TRUE gospel; Satan uses churches to preach ANOTHER Gospel
Jesus preached the true gospel to teach what you must do to inherit the kingdom of heaven. If you do what Jesus teaches, you become a child of God to inherit the kingdom of God. Any message that is labeled as ‘gospel’ but changes or strays from the gospel that Jesus preached is another gospel. Most churches and pastors preach other gospels which do not require doing what Jesus taught you must do for heaven. This is because most Christians leaders are not true servants of God. And the perverted gospels they teach are Satan’s deception. True servants of God guide people to obey God. They preach the straight, simple truth that came by Jesus and do not care to please people. Most church leaders are self-serving hypocrites who guide people to obey them and give them honor, power and money. They preach enticing deception to flatter and attract people, with the purpose of creating followers for themselves. Satan uses such deceiving preachers to spread another gospel than the gospel Jesus preached.

2. FALSE gospel = ANY change to Gospel of Jesus; God’s CURSE if preaching ANOTHER gospel
The spread of false gospels is not a new thing. Apostle Paul noticed this happen even during his time. In Galatians 1:6-7 Paul says, "I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him [God] that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ." Here Paul is stunned that so quickly after receiving the original true gospel of Christ, people are led astray to accept another gospel. He explains that messages differing from the gospel Jesus preached are not minor mistakes but serious perversion. Paul warns against accepting or preaching any other gospel than the gospel of Christ.

In Galatians 1:8-9 he says, "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed." There are 2 key points here. First, any change to the gospel Jesus preached is perverting the message to another gospel and corrupt of its true purpose. To emphasize the importance of not adding, removing, twisting or otherwise changing the original gospel of Christ, Paul repeats the message twice to stress that any other gospel is unacceptable. Second, God’s curse will be on those who preach another gospel than the true gospel of Christ. Paul even says if he, an apostle called by Lord Jesus Christ himself, or other disciples, or angels from heaven come preaching a different gospel, they will be cursed. It is of utmost importance to not blindly accept teachings of anyone who appears to be a servant of God, such as your church pastor, celebrity preacher or fellowship leader. If anyone teaches any other gospel that deviates from the original gospel of Christ, God’s curse will be on them.

3. Jesus ANOINTED to preach the Gospel; Gospel is good tidings for the MEEK
So, how to know what is the true gospel? Scripture tells us God chose only one person to be the authority on the true gospel. That one person was Jesus. The book of Isaiah prophesied that God will anoint Jesus to preach the gospel, which is also called ‘good tidings.’ Isaiah 61:1 says, "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek." To be anointed is to be specially set apart for a dedicated service, and here God anoints Jesus to preach the gospel or good tidings to the meek. Jesus himself declares this prophecy is fulfilled in him. Luke 4:17-18, 20-21 says, "And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he [Jesus] had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor…And he closed the book…And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears." Jesus openly declares this prophecy is about him. Only He was chosen to be anointed by God with the authority to preach the gospel to the poor.

In these identical prophecies, Isaiah says the gospel is to be preached to the meek and Luke says the gospel is to be preached to the poor. In this context, meek and poor are used interchangeable with the same meaning. The gospel Jesus preaches is not for those who are poor money-wise, rather the gospel is for those who are poor in spirit. Someone who is meek or poor in spirit submits to obeying God’s will for God’s glory. They refuse to disobey God for temptations of pleasure or power, and they choose to obey God even enduring suffering and affliction. So, the gospel is good news for the meek or poor in spirit who obey God.

There are 2 keys to become a believer of the true gospel of Christ and not be deceived by another false gospel of Satan. First, we must know what Jesus preached we must do to inherit the kingdom of Heaven. Second, we must be meek to obey what Jesus preached we must do to inherit the kingdom of heaven. Romans 10:15-16 says, "How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?" These verses praise true servants of God who preach the true gospel. It is called the gospel of peace because if you obey it you convert from being a child of Devil facing God’s wrath to a child of God facing God’s peace. This is glad tidings of good things because children of God inherit the kingdom of God. But all who hear the true gospel do not obey to become believers. Romans 10:16 says, "But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?" The gospel of Jesus is something to be obeyed, so it is what Jesus commands we must do to inherit the kingdom of heaven. Evidence of really believing the gospel is obeying the gospel. A true believer does not merely attend church, know Scripture and claim to love Jesus. A true believer obeys the gospel or commandments of Jesus.

4. Common FALSE Gospel = ONLY Jesus’s blood, death & resurrection for Forgiveness of Sin
So, what are these false gospels preached and accepted in churches? The most common false gospel is based on Jesus’s death and resurrection. In a nutshell, this other gospel of Satan says that as payment for your sins Jesus shed his blood, died on the cross, was buried and raised from the dead. Deceiving pastors preach that if you believe in this gospel alone you will go to heaven. This false gospel is known as the ‘grace gospel’; and deceivers explain this to mean that Jesus did all the work necessary, so your works or deeds are irrelevant. They preach that nothing you do in this life takes you to heaven, rather simply believing this gospel of Jesus’s free gift of eternal life is the unconditional grace of Christ that takes you to heaven.

Most churchgoing Christians are deceived into believing this other gospel because it cunningly mixes Bible vocabulary and events with the emotional appeal of a loving Savior who laid down his life to rescue sinners from going to Hell. Religious sinning churchgoers love hearing they are saved by coming to God just as they are. They gladly declare nothing they do is relevant to entering heaven, and simply believe what Jesus did will take them to heaven. But, believing historical facts about Jesus’s death and resurrection will take no one to heaven. Scripture gave 2 keys to become a believer of the true gospel of Jesus and not be deceived by another false gospel of Satan. First, know what Jesus preached you must do to inherit the kingdom of Heaven. Second, be meek to obey what Jesus preached you must do. False gospels fail both keys. First, Jesus never preached that believing in his death, burial and resurrection will take you to heaven. Second, belief in Jesus’s death and resurrection as God’s free gift to take you to heaven does not require obeying the commandments of Jesus. So, this is another gospel.

5. Satan DECEIVES with ANOTHER gospel that does NOT require obeying God
There is no higher authority on what is required to inherit the kingdom of heaven than the teaching of Jesus. So why are other gospels so commonly accepted? Most churchgoers are deceived by Satan to think they are true believers while they follow false gospel. 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 says "But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." Paul honestly preaches the true gospel of Christ, and says it is hidden to unbelievers because Satan who is the god of this world has blinded their minds. Deceived unbelievers may believe facts about Jesus’s death and resurrection, but they do not convert to become obedient children of God. The true gospel teaches how to grow in holiness and righteousness in the image of God the Creator, but unbelievers are blind to this truth and remain in the image of their father who is the Devil.

Paul warns that in the same way Satan as the Serpent deceived Eve to sin, so also, false servants will deceive people to accept another gospel to continue in sin. 2 Corinthians 11:3-4 says "But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him." If you accept another gospel, your mind is corrupted from Jesus’s simple message to obey God for eternal blessing. God told Adam and Eve if they touched or ate the fruit of a specific tree they would die. The serpent made a contradicting statement that they would not die. Eve was deceived by the serpent’s charming message that there is no punishment for disobeying God. The serpent did not speak harsh words of condemnation or rebuke; so, Eve did not find the serpent to be rude, offensive or unkind. So also, most church leaders entice people with another gospel that tells them that they are beloved, chosen and blessed by God with assurance of heaven while continuing in sin. These deceivers use flattering words to seduce people to follow them and give them honor and money. And Satan uses such self-serving deceivers to penetrate churches and ruin your mind from obeying the commandments of Jesus.

6. True servants of God please GOD and NOT people; Truth is REVEALED by God, NOT taught by men
True servants of God teach obedience to the same truth Jesus taught and do not care to please people. In Galatians 1:9-12 Paul writes "If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ." Paul makes 2 key points regarding true servants of God and how you can be confident they preach the true gospel. First, they preach with no intention to please, persuade or chase after people. So, they have no reason to alter the gospel as they do not care to gain approval from people. Their goal is not gaining money or power over others. Their motive is pleasing God by preaching the straight truth, even if that truth offends, angers or hurts people. Second, true servants do not learn the true gospel from men. They do not learn Scripture by attending Bible college or studying commentary of respected theologians. They receive the truth of Scripture by spiritual revelation from Lord Jesus Christ.

7. EVIL Disobedient are OFFENDED while MEEK Obedient are BLESSED by True Gospel & Servants
The plain truth of God offends and angers religious hypocrites, so much so, that they persecute true servants of God. In 1 Thessalonians 2:2-6 it says "But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated…we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention. For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile: But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts. For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness: Nor of men sought we glory." True servants are pure of deceit and guile. While false servants have unclean motives and please people with flattery to gain money and glory, true servants know God is an omnipresent witness who will know and judge their heart’s intentions. So, they aim to please God and preach truth. Such servants require boldness to speak the gospel, because preaching the truth brings great conflict and suffering. Religious hypocrites hated and killed Jesus. As the servant is not above the master, so also, even now, religious hypocrites continue to persecute and clash with true servants.

Evil, disobedient people are offended by the gospel of Christ because it reveals they are children of the Devil. They see obeying the gospel as an obstacle, so they falsely accuse and attack true servants. Meek, obedient people are not offended by the true gospel, rather they are convicted to repent and sin no more. In Luke 7:22-23 Jesus says, "Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that… to the poor the gospel is preached. And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me." Jesus says the blessed are those who are not offended by him and his gospel; that is, those who obey the gospel of Jesus will be eternally blessed. 2 Thessalonians 1:7-8 says "when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ." On Judgement Day, Lord Jesus Christ will punish with flaming fire evil souls who disobeyed His gospel. Believing another false gospel will take you to hell. Believing the true gospel of Christ will take you to heaven. Be blessed of God, be meek, and obey the commandments Jesus preached to inherit the kingdom of heaven. Obey the gospel of Jesus.
